Linn County Sheriff Bruce Riley reports that his detectives arrested a Sweet Home man for an arson that was originally reported on September 12, 2016. Refer to the original press release below.
Anthony Allen Victor (AKA Lonnie Victor), 32, from Sweet Home was arrested and lodged in the Linn County Jail in connection with the fire that destroyed a shed, RV, and vacant house located at 36232 Cold Springs Road in Crabtree.
On October 10, 2016, Linn County Detectives located Victor in the area of Lacomb Drive and Meridian Road in Linn County. Victor was caught with the use of a Linn County Sheriff’s Patrol K-9. Victor was arrested on three outstanding arrest warrants for probation violation and taken to the Linn County Jail.
On November 1, 2016, Linn County Detectives charged Anthony Victor with Arson I, Burglary II, and Criminal Mischief I.

Linn County Sheriff Bruce Riley reports tonight at 5:59 p.m. the Linn County Sheriff’s Office 9-1-1 Center received reports of a structure fire on Cold Springs Road in Crabtree.
Deputies responded to the location along with the Albany Fire Department, Lebanon Fire Department and Scio Fire Department. Emergency personnel found a RV and a shed on fire at the location. The fire later spread to a vacant house on the property. Fire personnel are still at the location extinguishing the structure fire. Deputies are investigating the fire as a possible arson. No injuries were reported.
The investigation is continuing.
