Linn County Undersheriff Jim Yon reports that his detectives arrested four people in connection with a string of crimes that occurred in the Lyons area over the past two months.
Detectives determined this group was responsible for burglarizing three separate properties. One of the properties was burglarized a second time. Approximately $35,000 of personal property was stolen as well as, a fully restored 1966 Ford Mustang, valued at $25,000.
Detectives were able to recover over 200 items stolen during the crime spree, including two of the six stolen rifles. Two people from this group were responsible for stealing three vehicles, including the restored Ford Mustang.
On 08/29/17, Detectives arrested Bradley Lewis Bethell, 22, and Kendallyn Quin Jones, 21, both of Lyons, in a traffic stop. Detectives searched the vehicle and seized dealer amounts of methamphetamine, heroin, packaging material, operation digital scales, drug paraphernalia, and a suspected stolen pistol.
Bradley Bethell was arrested and charged with Delivery of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Heroin, Burglary I, three counts of Burglary II, two counts of Aggravated Theft, Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, six counts of Theft I, Theft I by Receiving, Theft II, Unlawful Entry to Motor Vehicle, and two counts of Criminal Trespass I.
Kendallyn Jones was arrested and charged with Burglary I, Burglary II, Theft I, and Criminal Trespass I.
On 09/05/17, Detectives arrested Kyle Jonathon Stout, 20, and Jeremy Mitchell Crowell, 21, both of Mill City, at a residence in the 600 block Douglas Street in Mill City.
Kyle Stout was arrested and charged with Burglary I, three counts of Burglary II, two counts of Aggravated Theft, Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, six counts of Theft I, Theft I by Receiving, Theft II,Unlawful Entry to Motor Vehicle, and two counts of Criminal Trespass I.
Jeremy Crowell was arrested and charged with Burglary I, Burglary II, Aggravated Theft, six counts of Theft I, Unlawful Entry to Motor Vehicle, and Criminal Trespass I.
All four individuals are lodged at the Linn County Jail.
