Linn County Sheriff Bruce Riley reports that on January 4, 2018, at 12:05 a.m., the Linn County Sheriff’s Office received a transferred 911 call from METCOM 911, regarding a stabbing that occurred in the 800 block of SW Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. The caller reported he had been stabbed and went unconscious while speaking on the phone. Linn County Deputies arrived at the location as Terrence A. Bostick, 53, and a resident of the property, was getting ready to be transported to Santiam Memorial Hospital in Stayton.
Deputies located the person involved in the stabbing; Kody Marie Dunlap, 30, (a transient in the Mill City area) in the 300 block of SW Kingwood Avenue. Dunlap was brought to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office where she was interviewed by detectives. Detectives also interviewed Bostick at the Santiam Memorial Hospital where he is listed as being in stable condition. Bostick received one stab wound in his bicep that severed an artery.
After interviews were conducted, Dunlap was arrested and charged with Assault II, Tampering with Evidence, and Violation of Restraining Order.
