The Linn County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce the graduation of three employees from the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) Academy. Last Friday, Deputy Chris Reese, Deputy Garrett Burner, and Deputy Jacob Woods graduated from the 16-week Basic Police Academy, and are beginning their Field Training. All three deputies did incredibly well at the Academy, with Deputy Garrett Burner also being awarded the Outstanding Defensive Tactics Award for his class.
