Linn County Sheriff Jim Yon reports early Wednesday morning at 2:02 a.m., dispatch received the report from the alarm company at Sunbelt Rentals in the 900 block of NE Old Salem Avenue in Millersburg. Deputies and the Albany Police Department responded to the area and witnessed a U-Haul truck leaving the property. The vehicle was stopped, and the occupants were identified as Woody Taylor, 23, and Anthony Rodrigues, 22.
During the investigation, deputies learned Rodrigues and Taylor gained access to Sunbelt building by shooting the window and breaking it out. Rodrigues and Woody loaded numerous tools and computer equipment in the U-Haul before driving away from the area. The tools and equipment were valued over $10,000.
Taylor and Rodrigues were transported to Linn County Jail where they are facing charges of Delivery of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Burglary I, Delivery of Heroin, Possession of Heroin, Unlawful Entry of a Motor Vehicle, Aggravated Theft and Felon in Possession of a Weapon.
