Linn County Sheriff Jim Yon reports yesterday at 3:30 p.m. his deputies responded to a report of a missing man on Keel Mountain Drive outside of Lebanon. Gary Censky, 71, was reported to be missing from his residence by his wife. He was last seen outside in their yard, when his wife was unable to find him. The property at this location is fairly remote and very brushy. Gary is thought to be on foot somewhere in the area and did not have a vehicle. According to his wife, Gary suffered from severe dementia but had never walked off before. Gary is 5’7”, 150, with grey hair and brown eyes and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing black pants, a dark grey shirt and sweatshirt, black shoes and a camouflaged colored baseball hat with a bear logo.
If Gary was picked up by someone, it is thought he would ask to go to the Albany area.
Deputies and members of the Search and Rescue Team have been searching for Gary since yesterday and continue those efforts today. Anyone who has information about Gary Censky’s whereabouts should call the Linn County Sheriff’s Office at (541) 967-3911.
